where it started
Becoming a mother changed my world completely and nothing really prepared me for that. It's overwhelming, transformative and filled with both immense love and constant challenges!
When my children were babies I found myself losing a sense of who I was outside of motherhood and decided to start my own business where I could tap into my creative skills.
Life took a U-turn a couple of years ago, and I found myself raising my children as a single parent while running a business entirely on my own.
This made me revaluate everything- my priorities, my sense of self and the future I want to create.

My career began in early years education, but I've always been an innovative person, driven to lead and create my own path. I knew I would build something of my own one day.
Alongside raising my babies and working part time, I stepped into the creative industry through wedding styling. I quickly recognised a gap in the market for alternative voices.
This led me to create alternative wedding fairs which then evolved into the
I produced styled shoots, collaborated with businesses, and worked closely with couples to tell real stories that reflected a different style of wedding to the "norm"
Through all of this, one thing became very clear:
The alternative community deserved more than occasional representation.
It needed a platform.

In 2019, I launched the first Alternative Night Market of its kind in the North East. The Luna Night Market grew into something I could never have imagined, receiving an incredible amount of love. Today, Luna Co now creates and produces alternative immersive events that bring people together from across the UK.
It's something very special and would be nothing without the alt community behind it.

Creating safe, inclusive spaces for people to explore their true selves is at the centre of my vision.
Celebrating creativity and individuality with authenticity is a core value.
These events are a space where everyone is free to express themselves without judgement.
They are designed to uplift and inspire with every gathering being as unique as every person that attends.

Like the moon we are made of both light and dark and I embrace this fully.
When I bring an event to life I focus not only on logistics but on how a space should feel, shaping it with intuition and purpose.
Call me a witch or just a woman that discovered her power.
We all have our own journeys and this is part of mine that I wanted to share with you. I've grown so much personally and professionally and have gained a newfound sense of self and confidence in what I do.
